There are four essential elements within Skool.com:

  2. Classroom.
  3. Calendar.

The ‘Classroom’ feature allows you to create, share, and sell your courses with Skool to build an engaged community.

To create and sell online courses with Skool:

  • Login to your Skool.com account and create a group.
  • Select the ‘Settings’ button within your group.
  • Click ‘Classroom’ from the menu.
  • Click ‘Add Your First Course’.
  • Name your course and briefly describe what the course will cover.

Once you’ve created your course, it’s time to add content through modules.

Modules are the basic building blocks of your course’s content and consist of titles, content, and actions.

How To Create A Module:

  • Click ‘Add Module’ and name your module with a relevant title.
  • Insert videos by copying and pasting a YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, or Loom link.

  • Click ‘Draft’ or ‘Published’ under the module status (depending on whether you want your course to be visible to your community).
  • Attach files, transcripts, or action items (tasks your community needs to complete) within each module if applicable.

Discussions:

Toggle the ‘Discussion’ option on or off to allow members to discuss content related to the module.

Enabling this option within each module allows members to engage, give feedback, and post comments related to the content!

If you turn this off, members won’t be able to engage in conversations.

Organizing your course:

If your course has less than 15 modules, simply organize the course without using sets.

However, if your course is quite long, you’ll need to create sets to organize your content so it’s easier to navigate.

Sets are like folders and are used to manage modules.
